Customer Success - Account Management

Acre is rebuilding the UK’s £1.4 trillion mortgage market from the ground up, with a completely new, end-to-end management system for mortgages. Our platform cuts out the unnecessary admin, pain and friction from buying a home. We're covering the entire journey, from figuring out what you can borrow, to getting your keys. We're guided both by the voice of real home buyers and by our close relationships with brokers, lenders and insurers, through our exclusive broker distribution agreement representing over £40 billion in mortgage lending each year. We won’t stop until the process of buying, mortgaging, conveyancing, and insuring your home is affordable and completely seamless.

We went live with our first users in Q4 2020 and have been expanding the team since then. Join our Customer Success team and become one of the faces and voices of Acre.

As an Account Manager at Acre, you are at the frontline of customer interactions. You will be driving the adoption of Acre’s cutting-edge mortgage solution among brokers to achieve a high retention rate. You will be helping them get the most out of our end-to-end system by understanding each brokerage and their business needs then putting the right support tools and content in front of them. You will be looking after a portfolio of clients and will be responsible for their onboarding and activation, and ultimately, their success using Acre. You are also a problem solver who will be partnering with your Customer Success colleagues and other teams at Acre like Product and Business Development to be an advocate for our users’ needs and ensure the product continually delights our customers.

This will be a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced Fintech start-up and directly contribute to its growth.

As an Account Manager at Acre, you will be: ­

  • Developing and maintaining a deep knowledge of the client portfolio you’ll be responsible for, and our product.
  • Managing clients throughout the customer lifecycle including onboarding, activation, continuous support, and growth.
  • Helping brokerages increase their business efficiency through improving their knowledge and adoption of Acre and its capabilities.
  • Using data to identify low users of the system and working with these firms to increase usage.
  • Advocating for our customers, using their feedback to improve our product, in collaboration with our Product team.
  • Contributing to the overall Customer Success team’s work, including day-to-day support and training.

You should apply if you:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Account Management with a software or SaaS organisation
  • Have a successful history of managing a client portfolio, and achieving activation and retention
  • Are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Are disciplined and detail oriented
  • Are a resourceful, quick, sharp and creative problem solver
  • Are passionate about Customer Success and making clients happy
  • Like teamwork yet are able to work with minimal supervision and a high degree of autonomy
  • Have an interest or experience in the Financial Services industry
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
