Meet Fiona, one of our Quality Assurance Analysts. Fiona’s been a part of Acre since October 2021.

What made you want to join Acre?

What attracted me to Acre is that they’re building a product that’s disrupting the market and industry. It’s been so exciting being involved in testing a product at early doors, being able to give ways to improve it, and seeing it all come to life! The people here are so friendly and approachable which makes collab work super enjoyable too.

What does a typical day look like for you?

I have daily catch ups with the product/dev team to go through what was done yesterday and what’s the plan of action today. Each day can be so different depending on if there’s a release or spending time writing test plans for upcoming features as well as testing the system in making sure it’s functional before we release it to our users.

What were you doing before?

I was working for an investment company as a research analyst. When they started building their own platform, I got more involved in the tech build, giving ideas on how to improve user journey and testing the functions. That’s how I got into tech and never looked back!

What’s your go-to lunch (and why)?

When we’re at the office, the choices are endless, and we explore a different place each time. But I’m always up for a cheeky Nando’s (especially on a Friday) - give me that hot sauce, chicken pitta and coleslaw.

What superhero power do you bring to the team?

I make sure our products are good to use before we ship it, so it’s definitely x-ray vision for me.
